Public registry

Verify a watch.

Look up the provenance, current owner and declared service history of any watch on file with BezelPass. Before you buy, check.

The serial number is usually engraved between the lugs or on the case back.

How to use it

Three steps. Thirty seconds.

01

Find the detail.

The watch's serial number is engraved between the lugs. If you have the seller's BezelPass certificate, the BP-XXXXXX code sits in the top right.

02

Enter and verify.

Paste the detail in the search box. If the piece is on file with BezelPass, we'll take you to its public record with brand, year, prior owners and photographs.

03

Decide with judgement.

If the watch shows as stolen or doesn't appear in the registry despite the seller claiming a paid passport, that's a reason to pause before closing the deal.

Your watch not on file yet?

Issue its passport now.

Ten minutes. No card needed. Filed for good.
